The original structure was constructed in 1952 using brick, concrete and steel - the unique building was an ideal specimen to convert to affordable, Modernist stylish condos.
The Bauhaus Lofts building has undergone extensive renovations. On the exterior, new decks have been added and landscaping has been implemented around the entire community. The interior renovation is an exercise in Modernism.
THE RENOVATION
Each unit was stripped of all walls, flooring and fixtures. The building is made with bar joist construction to easily facilitate the new floorplans. Starting with a clean slate, the possibilities opened up.
THE NEW LOFTS
The new condos are spectacular! The introduction of granite, stainless steel and hardwood into the clean lines of the modern design set the stage for the perfect urban living experience.
THE LOCATION
The Bauhaus Lofts could not be better situated in the Twin Cities. Located within walking distance of the famed "Eat Streets" neighborhood, a mile to downtown Minneapolis, and just blocks from 94 & 35W interstate access, no matter where you work and play, you'll be close to it all! Also across the street is a beautiful park and Minneapolis College of Art & Design.
